Today's post I'll write in English, because I'm a guest at Sewaholic, the famous Canadian sewing pattern company. To my suprise I received an email, saying that they spotted my Pedrell blouse. Caroline asked if I'd like to participate in their series "Seamstress Spotlight". Off course, I would looove to, was my obvious answer!
I have been a fan of Sewaholic patterns right from the start of my sewing career. The first selfish sewing post I ever blogged was about the Cambie dress. O my, a lot has changed since then, but not my love for Sewaholic patterns. This reminds me, next week is my two year blog anniversary and I have a treat in mind for you...
For this blouse I choose the pleated sleeves, which are attatched between the princess seams. It's a really original sleeve I've never sewn before. The pattern advises a fabric with a nice drape and this is indeed necessary with this kind of sleeve I think.
Hop over to the Sewaholic blog to read my interview and thanks a lot for inviting me!
